The Shtetl Menschen
For about 10 years, the Alpert Jewish Community Center in Long Beach has sponsored a Klezmer band. Klezmer is a musical genre that originated in the jewish communities of easten Europe. I have been playing with the band, known as the Shtetl Menschen, since its inception.Wikipedia has a very good article about Klezmer music.
